Location: Trentham Memorial Park, just off Brentwood Street, Heretaunga, Upper Hutt 5018
Trentham Memorial Park is one of those grand parks that has a little bit of everything, sports fields, a beautiful forest and a state of the art playground.
Once our two had spotted the playground it took a bit of persuading to get them to go for a walk :)
There are a number of tracks which all have great signage. We decided to do the circuit walk.
These walks would be ideal for buggies and balance bikes. There was one little dip in the path, otherwise it was completely flat.
Once you enter the forest the paths are lined with fences, ideal for little ones who like to stray.
The walk takes you through lush native bush with several stunning trees to admire.
We took our time (as much as we could knowing the playground was waiting), but we were around it in 20 min.
The kids loved this whole park, we would highly recommend it as a place to spend an afternoon.
